He will get many yrs. of use out of this. He loves it. The pieces of wood to build with are a big plus to this work bench. It has plenty of tools that are safe, not sharp. The light is adorable. The drawers on front are not actually drawers, it is a big door for storage that appears to be drawers. I think this was a big plus as the drawers may have been a bit sticky to pull in and out. He loves the vacuum on the side, this was a big hit for sure! BTW don't waste your money on the more expensive certain hardware store one. My grandson pulled off one of the stickers on the screwdriver and guess whose name was underneath it? Yep Step 2 makes it for them. Only they charge twice the price. It's wonderful! It was Christmas gift for my 2 year old son and he just adores it, as does his 4 year old sister. They literally sit in the play room for hours building and hammering away! It's a very popular toy during play dates as well, and the size makes it good for sharing. Two children can fit comfortably in front of it and play together.This work shop has a ton of storage space, which make clean up so easy! It has a large storage bin below the main work area,as well as a cabinet, and a pull out drawer where tools can be safely stowed. One thing we loved is that it comes with it's own tools! The drill really "works" and makes a fun noise as it drills. It's by far, my son's favorite tool. My grandson loves his tools and the little light above the station was such a great touch. He plays with this toy for hours and is just a joy to watch. Parents beware, stepping on the screws and nails can be very painful! The little guy spreads everything out everywhere, but he loves to pick them up and put them back into his buckets. He can see everything and he has so much fun. Best purchase for his birthday. |
