The specs say nothing of the functions of this vacuum, July 28, 2012 By  Gurdjieff2000 - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Black & Decker VM825 1800W Vacuum Cleaner 220 Volts for Use Overseas Only (Electronics) I live in SE Asia and was interested in this product as it is 220v. HOWEVER, the description of the product said NOTHING of value. How is this vacuum designed to be used? On carpet or hard floor including tiles? This important piece of information was NOT included in the product description. In addition, it is NOT listed on ANY Black and Decker website, nor is the country of origin shown in the specs. Shame on you Amazon for having this item on your website with no information available with which the buyer may use to evaluate this purchase. With no user reviews (mine is the first), I will check back later to see how others share (or not) my opinion. I immediately cancelled my order for this prior to its being shipped.
